In this second part of director Jack Neo’s two-part movie, The Lion Men, Supreme (starring Tosh Zhang) continued his battle with his former teammates from the more traditional Tiger Crane Lion Dance Association.

Titled The Lion Men: Ultimate Showdown, the sequel focuses on the complicated relationships between Supreme, his girlfriend Xiaoyu (Eva Cheng) and Mikey (Wang Weiliang), Supreme’s former teammate in Tiger Crane.

As the troupes prepare for the lion dance competition, a love triangle begins to evolve. Supreme becomes increasingly jealous of Mikey and spends every waking hour training—by doing so, he neglects Xiaoyu. Mikey, who has been secretly admiring Xiaoyu all this time steps in to cheer her up.

Big Screen: The Lion Men 2 - Ultimate ShowdownMatters get worse when Xiaoyu is kidnapped during the finals, leaving Supreme and Mikey torn between the competition and going out to look for her.

Catch The Lion Men: The Ultimate Showdown, showing at cinemas nationwide now.
