A Bracelet To Sleep, Perchance To Dream

Luxury brand Philip Stein unveils a new bracelet which mimics frequencies that apparently improve one’s quality of sleep.

The Philip Stein Sleep BraceletIts watches have adorned the elite wrists of Oprah, Madonna and Samuel L. Jackson, but the Philip Stein luxury timepiece and jewellery brand looks to capture a new market with its Sleep Bracelet, aimed to increase one’s health and well-being using the proprietary Natural Frequency Technology (NFC).

Singapore was was introduced to this wonder watch at the grand opening of the largest flagship Philip Stein store in Asia at ION Orchard in January. How it works: NFC centers on the concept that the organs, tissues and cells within the human body all vibrate within a range of frequencies. Embedded in each watch is a frequency-infused metal disc which the brand claims to reset the body back to its Harmonic Resonance Frequency (HRF), or ideal frequency, and lead to increased well-being, relaxation and better sleep.

Though the science behind NFC is yet to be clinically proven, the Philip Stein Facebook page already has countless customer testimonials extolling the health benefits associated with the brand’s products.

Established in 2002 by Will and Rina Stein, the Philip Stein collection also features timepieces, jewellery and wine wands—nifty rods that help enhance the flavor of red wine by using the same theory of natural frequencies to aerate wine in minutes rather than hours.

In conjunction with the flagship store opening, the brand also released its first Calgaro jewellery collection which fuses retro-inspired styling with ultra-lightweight material and construction.

This City News writer received a Philip Stein sleep bracelet featuring the Natural Frequency Technology to review. After a month of using the sleep bracelet my findings are, unfortunately, inconclusive.

I didn’t experience any noticeable improvement in the quality of my sleep, nor a significant increase in relaxation and feelings of well being.

One thing I did experience was a significant increase in dreaming, which was a pleasant surprise.
