City Harvest Church launches into a season of prayer with the start of Prayer 365.

As the saying goes, “some battles are best fought on our knees”. It is vital for Christians to go to prayer when faced with challenges. City Harvest Church launched its prayer movement, Prayer 365, on Aug. 1, bringing the members into a season of prayer.
Prayer 365 mobilizes CHC members and cell groups to form a prayer chain to pray every evening for one entire year without ceasing. Prayers are said for the church and the body of Christ.
Wu Yuzhuang, the pastor in charge of the movement, explained, “Prayer is always an integral part of CHC, it helps connect us to God and to each other. In this challenging season of our church, it is even more important for us to depend on God in our prayers and stay united in our prayers.”
Every single day for a year, two cell groups are committed to pray together in the evening; these prayer sessions are held at the church office at Suntec on weekdays and Singapore Expo during the weekends.
It has been almost two months since the start of the prayer movement and members who have participated in praying have been blessed by the meeting. Cell group leader Raymond Low, 25, said, “Prayer is more than just a routine. To me it has evolved from discipline to delight. Prayer 365 is a time when my cell group and I simply enjoy God and just being with Him.”
Another member, Valerie Ang, 19, felt that Prayer 365 is a demonstration of the unity of CHC as a church. “After attending Prayer 365, I can see that we are united as a church, as a zone, as a cell group and all of us are in this (season) together! My faith has definitely increased and I believe we will come out of the situation stronger than before.”
