In conjunction with the launch of Finnair’s direct flights from Singapore to Helsinki starting this month, European restaurant Gordon Grill has flown in guest chef Kim Palhus to cook up some fine Finnish fare which includes specialities like juniper marinated reindeer tenderloin, reindeer roast with liquorice sauce, and blini-style buckwheat brioche with salmon trout roe, beetroot-fresh cheese mousse and red onion jam. Finnish cuisine is marked by characteristic cooking styles such as oven-roasting and liberal use of root vegetables, pork, beef and poultry.

If you’re interested in having a bit of everything, there’s the sampling patter at S$48. The four-course lunch menu is at S$58 per pax and six-course degustation dinner menu at S$98 per pax.

The New Finnish Cuisine Promotion at Gordon Grill is available from June 4 to 11.
