In foodie circles, Penang is a brand name unto its own—if you’re a fan, you’ll be glad to know that Parkroyal’s Plaza Brasserie will be flying in guest hawkers, Chef Toon and Chef Teoh, for its Penang food buffet featuring authentic Penang favorites such as Penang Jelatah (pineapple and chilli salad), Penang Hokkien Char, Ikan Tenggiri Goreng, Sambal Squid and Grey Prawns with Assam Sauce.
A highlight in particular is the famous Win Soon Fried Oyster Omelette. Lor mee lovers can look forward to Chef Teoh’s special sauce freshly cooked with pork bones and pork rib meat.
