Considerate measures taken during these screenings include having the volume lowered and some lights in the cinema turned on. A mini pantry area equipped with diaper tables, baby wipes, powders and moisturizers is available in the theater for the convenience of parents—at no charge. A mother who attended one of the Mums & Babies screening even commented that the trailers screened prior to the movie were all suitable for children.
Through this initiative, parents and toddlers can enjoy a full-length film, usually a children’s classic, animation or comedy, at only a fraction of the cost (S$6 per adult ticket while children 90cm and below get in free).
Other family-friendly offers include the Kids Watch For Free (one child below age 12 enters for free with every purchase of two standard tickets) and Cartoon Sunday Mornings @ GV Bishan (S$5 per ticket) promotional offers, starting in April.
