In the recently concluded Water Through My Lens photography competition held in conjunction with World Water Day 2011, Singapore Polytechnic student Tan Hwee Ting bagged the first runner-up prize for her entry in the Young Adult Category.

The 19-year-old received a trophy, a hamper and S$500 for her shot titled Water Nostalgia, captured at Marina Barrage.
