Roll out the warm welcome for your guests come Chinese New Year with these yummy treats.

No assortment of Chinese New Year titbits would be complete without a helping of the ubiquitous Chinese New Year pineapple tarts. Toast Box’s homemade, melt-in-the-mouth tarts, the Toast Box Golden Nuggets (S$16.80 for 22 pieces), feature a generous helping of sweet pineapple paste sitting atop a delectable, buttery pastry.

For something different on the snack tray, check out Bakerzin’s Japanese-style mochi balls (S$38 per tin of 24 pieces) which comes in a variety of fillings including yam, black sesame, peanut, red bean,  matcha red bean and sweet potato, among others—it’s like eating ah balling without the soup!

Or, pick up its cookie tin (S$38 per tin of 96 pieces) containing two flavors—Cranberry Chocolate Pistachio, which combines the crunchiness of fresh pistachios with the sweet-bitter delight of cranberries and chocolate, and Almond Butter—a light sprinkling of sea salt complementing its buttery flavor and tasty bits of ground almonds to perfection.
