Nude lips are a fresh way to look perfectly natural. Here’s how.

Having a “minimalist” style does not mean going out without makeup on. It takes one of the most challenging techniques to achieve a perfect natural look.

Nude is in every year but even more so this year, which sees a smooth, matte nude lip. The matte tone enhances your complexion, and nude lips complement prominent eye make-up.

You may opt for a dark and sultry eye with liberal lashings of mascara and eyeliner, or create what cosmetic company M.A.C. calls the American Nomad—a deceptively clean face with sunkissed cheekbones and a touch of gold around the eyes, creating the look of a prairie girl.

Nude Lips Are HotLearn how to sport this trend in a few steps:

1. Choose the proper foundation that flatters your skin type as well as the complementary powder. Make sure your lips blend into this matte look which will accentuate the softened texture.

2. Cover your lips with a high quality tinted moisturizer or powder, to camouflage any beauty flaws or uneven tones on your lips. To pull off the nude lips look, you need to condition your lips regularly by sloughing dead skin cells from your lips using a soft toothbrush in a circular motion, and applying lip balm.

3. Line lips with a nude beige or light peach lipliner to accentuate the shape of your lips.

4. Choose a lip color close to your skin tone to achieve this latest look.
